Love, and claim no hometown privilege.
Take pleasure when truth blossoms
because it has been nurtured by love.
When you love,
you revealyour true self
and the nature of God,
for God first loved you.
May the One who brings Good News to the poor,
who restores sight to the blind,
and who liberates by love
set you free to live in the same way.

Rev. Ivan Herman
Rev. Ivan Herman ha servido como pastor asociado en la Iglesia Presbiteriana Carmichael desde 2009 y es activo en el Presbiterio del Norte de California Central. Creció en Ecuador y Colombia, y ha servido previamente como pastor o anciano gobernante en congregaciones presbiterianas en Memphis, TN, Washington, DC, y San Antonio, TX. Posee un pase anual para los Parques Nacionales de EE.UU., así como títulos de la American University, el Seminario Teológico Wesley y la Universidad Wake Forest. Ivan vive en Sacramento con su esposa, Susan. Tienen una nevera bien surtida para sus dos hijos adolescentes, pero el helado nunca llega al congelador.
