We say S-A-L-T, we need Flavor!
A world that sometimes is tasteless
A world that is in so much need of spices
Let’s bring flavor to those around us
Let’s spread the seasoning to the whole earth

We say L- I- G- H- T, We need brightness!
A world that regularly is in darkness
A world that is in so much need to See
Let’s open paths for the next generation
Let’s guide others who cannot see by themselves

We say, SALT AND LIGHT, we need Jesus!
As Jesus followers we need to help people to taste all flavors
As Jesus disciples we need to create new ways of justice to be seen
It is within us to create new ways where love is spread
It is within us to to create new paths of unity and freedom

Shine upon us God to see you
Give us flavor to taste your goodness, Jesus
Spirit of transformation help us today, now and always. Amen.
