Lebanon shall receive first consideration.The Layyah A. Barakat Foundation of Philadelphia, PA [ceased to exist in 1984] may, from time to time, make recommendations to the Presbyterian Church (USA) on the Church’s use of the income from this fund.In the event that circumstances prevent the use of the annual income within any five year period for the care, maintenance and education of Middle East boys and girls of Arab extraction as described above, then that earned but undistributed income shall be used for purposes as similar as possible to the original intent of the Donor for the care of children of Arab extraction anywhere in the world.

Will be used for Scholarships for Needy Youth initially in the field and work of the Reverend Albert Reasoner and his wife, Cathy, c/o Central Brazil Mission, c/o Mr. Charles Harken, Caiza 1596, Sao Paula, Brazil. Should the Reverend and Mrs. Reasoner leave or retire from field and Mission work, said income will be paid by the Commission [Coemar], or its successor, to another missionary approved by the Community Presbyterian Church, Gustine, California for the same purpose. At the option of the Commission, income may be accumulated for not more than four years for the benefit of a particularly worthy young person.

Should the School of Nursing at the Presbyterian Hospital, Taegu, Korea, or its successors cease to exist or cease to be a part of or officially connected with The United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A., then said net income shall be used by the Commission for work as similar to the original intent of the Donor as it, in its own judgment, shall determine.
