Fund RestrictionTo be by it [Foundation, Inc.] administered for the use and benefit of the Student Loan Fund, maintained for students in the General Assembly Training School for Lay Workers [n/k/a Union Theological Seminary], located in Richmond, Virginia. I prefer that the sums thus paid shall be used as loan funds, but in all matters of use the judgment of the Foundation above named as to its use shall be conclusive. [On May 5, 1951, the Board of Foundation, Inc. voted and approved to allow the income from this fund to be used as scholarships instead of loans but that the corpus should not be invaded.]

Fund RestrictionScholarships for children of missionaries of the Presbyterian Board of Foreign Missions. In accordance with the 9/18/1944 BFM action the following policy governs all grants for scholarships from the Mary C. McKee Scholarship Fund:I. That the scholarships shall be administered by the Executive Council of the Board upon recommendation of the Personnel Committee of the Board and the Missionary Personnel and Medical Department Council of the Executive Staff.II. That the granting of all scholarships from these funds shall be on the basis of the financial need of the family.III. That the sons and daughters of missionaries who anticipate full time service in the Presbyterian Church shall have a prior claim when the financial need is equally evident.IV. That the sons and daughters of missionaries pursuing post graduate work which leads to full time service in the Presbyterian Church shall be eligible for scholarships, provided the amount received as scholarships shall be refunded according to the practice followed by the Board in connection with its Missionary Preparation funds, i.e., should they fail to serve the church the full five years.V. That all grants shall be made for one year only, but may be renewed on the basis of satisfactory work.VI. That the maximum grant for any one year to any son or daughter shall not exceed two hundred dollars.VII. That applications for these scholarships shall be in the hands of the Department of Missionary Personnel by March 1 of each year, with awards to be announced by April 1, it being understood that the scholarships may be used at whatever institution is specified in the application.
