To maintain Laurel Hospital, White Rock, North Carolina so long as said hospital is conducted by the Board [of Home Missions]; and toward the maintenance of some other similar institution conducted by said Board, in case said Hospital ceases to be conducted by said Board. [Laurel Hospital closed in 1931. Per Board Action on 6/9/1949: For support of small hospital or other health projects, giving priority to those which are rural in character.]

To be paid to or applied for the benefit of such needy or worthy student in the Farm School at Asheville, N.C. [n/k/a Warren Wilson College], as may seem most advisable to the Board [of Home Missions] having said school in charge, so long as said school shall be maintained. In case said school shall cease to be maintained at any time, then such interest and income shall be applied to such other work of the Woman’s Board as may be deemed most advisable.

For students from Colombia and Venezuela to attend the Matanzas Seminary, Cuba, on the understanding that if circumstances make it advisable to use the interest elsewhere, the Commission [Coemar] is free to do so provided that the title and memorial character of the fund are always connected with it and the purpose is maintained as nearly as possible.
