Do not be fearful! Do not worry about the troubles ahead or anxieties right in front of you. Boast in the love of God so that you envelop yourself in the hope that is to come. Despite all brokenness, we are never too far from God. Therefore, grasp onto hope as God’s abundant love washes over all of Creation.

En esta escena, Jesús demuestra al menos dos verdades (además de una razón para no sentirme culpable por la frecuencia con la que mi marido cocina... que es casi el 95 por ciento de las veces): En primer lugar, Jesús ha resucitado en cuerpo y alma, y el consumo de alimentos ilustra la vitalidad de su cuerpo. En segundo lugar, incluso en un estado posterior a la resurrección, Jesús sigue asumiendo el papel de líder servidor.
