Los recipientes de tales becas deberán haber demostrado y deberán continuar demostrando ser estudiantes meritorios con una dedicación a los propósitos sobre los cuales se predica el Seminario y deberán además estar dedicados hacia la preparación para el ministerio de la Iglesia Presbiteriana Unida. Con el fin de que dichos fondos estén disponibles para tantos estudiantes como sea razonablemente posible, se ordena que la cantidad de dichas becas se limite a no más de dos tercios (2/3) de la matrícula y cuotas para el beneficiario.

To be used for a student assistance fund, with need determined by the seminary, and preference given to students preparing for work in world missions. Any student receiving assistance from this fund must be committed to: a full-time vocation of preaching or teaching the Gospel of Christ; accepting Holy Scripture as the word of God for all generations, the inerrant source of authority for faith and practice of the Christian faith; shall unreservedly subscribe to the historic Nicene Creed as an expression of the Christian faith; and shall adhere strictly in the conduct of his or her life to the teachings of the Apostle Paul as outlined in 1 Corinthians 6:9-20.
