Fund RestrictionFor scholarship purposes for students of such Seminary selected by the President thereof. The recipients of such scholarships are to have demonstrated and shall continue to demonstrate themselves as meritorious scholars with a dedication to the purposes upon which Seminary is predicated and shall further be dedicated toward the preparation for the ministry of the United Presbyterian Church. So as to make said funds available to as many students as reasonably possible, it is directed that the amount of such scholarships be limited to no more than two-thirds (2/3) of the tuition and fees for the recipient.

Fund RestrictionTo be used for a student assistance fund, with need determined by the seminary, and preference given to students preparing for work in world missions. Any student receiving assistance from this fund must be committed to: a full-time vocation of preaching or teaching the Gospel of Christ; accepting Holy Scripture as the word of God for all generations, the inerrant source of authority for faith and practice of the Christian faith; shall unreservedly subscribe to the historic Nicene Creed as an expression of the Christian faith; and shall adhere strictly in the conduct of his or her life to the teachings of the Apostle Paul as outlined in 1 Corinthians 6:9-20.
