to assist young people in colleges or theological seminaries who need assistance to enable them to secure training for the gospel ministry or other Church vocations.

To aid students who are preparing for ministry.

to provide annual scholarships or fellowships to outstanding Junior, Senior or Graduate Students enrolled in a recognized School of Theology, who show promise of excellence in Christian Leadership. The granting of a scholarship or fellowship shall not be based upon the financial needs of the student but shall be granted as a reward or recognition of scholastic ability and achievement.

With first preference given to its work in North India to support the establishment and continued operation of community health programs, and with second preference given to its work in Nepal and/or Pakistan for similar use. Lastly, the income and or principal paid to the five designated causes set forth above shall be outside the budget of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and shall not be equalized.

With first preference given to its work in providing scholarships for students of Tokyo Union Theological Seminary in Tokyo, Japan, and with second preference given to its work in providing scholarships for students of Union Theological Seminary located in Manila, Philippines. Further, should Tokyo Union Theological Seminary desire, they may, at their sole discretion, revoke all or part of their proportionate share of this gift by withdrawing all or part of the full market value of their proportionate share of this fund at any quarterly valuation date by giving the Foundation written notice of intent to withdraw ten days prior to such valuation date. Each request for partial withdrawal shall be for not less than $1,000.00 per withdrawal. Income on any withdrawal shall cease on the date of withdrawal.Lastly, the income and or principal paid to the five designated causes set forth above shall be outside the budget of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and shall not be equalized.
