Fund RestrictionOne: To provide scholarships for worthy students, preferably Thai, in the fields of medicine, nursing and theology at institutions of higher learning in Thailand and at Wattana Wittaya, Thailand. Preference is to be given to students eighteen (18) years of age or over, except in the case of those students nominated for Wattana Wittaya. Nominations of recipients of above scholarships will be made by the acting administrators at Wattana Wittaya, at Bangkok Christian Hospital and the Church of Christ in Thailand, but the final decision as to recipients of scholarships shall be made by officials of the Commission. This geographical limitation may be waived only if political conditions in Thailand make it necessary.Two: To construct or add to a Memorial Chapel at Wattana Wittaya Academy in Bankok Thailand in honor of GEORGE BRADLEY MCFARLAND (donor BERTHA BLOUNT MCFARLAND). This last named capital construction expenditure will not be made until in the carefully considered opinion of the officials of the Commission, political conditions in Thailand and in the Far East are stabilized sufficiently to justify such a capital investment.Three: The Commission, after it receives the corpus hereof, may in its discretion disburse moneys from principal but the principal shall not be reduced below a value of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) unless it be used to construct the Chapel referred to in paragraph Two above.

Fund RestrictionThe Foundation shall reinvest all income into principal, so that such income becomes principal. The Foundation shall calculate annually the change in the market value of the Fund for the current year by computing the difference between the fair market value of the Fund on December 31 of the current year and the fair market value of the Fund on December 31 of the immediately preceding year (hereinafter the Change in Market Value). For every year subsequent to the initial year in which the Fund is established, the calculation of the Change in Market Value of the Fund shall reflect changes in market value as well as any distributions made in accordance with the provisions set forth hereinbelow. The Foundation shall pay annually seventy percent (70%) of the Change in Market Value of the Fund, payment to be made on or after January 1 of each year, to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), 100 Witherspoon Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40202-1396 (hereinafter the Beneficiary), to be used by the Presbyterian Hunger Program for hunger programs in Central America and South America.

Fund RestrictionThe Foundation shall reinvest net income so that Net income becomes principal until the principal reaches One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00). Thereafter, the Foundation shall continue to reinvest ten percent (10%) of the net income into principal and perpetuity so that net income becomes principal and the Foundation shall pay ninety percent (90%) of the net income therefrom (hereinafter Net Income) after the expiration of each calendar quarter (or at any regular time interval as established by the Board of trustees of the Foundation from time to time) to the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to be used for the Racial Justice Program area, or its successor.
