To provide an annual scholarship to a deserving Pakistani youth at Forman Christian College in Lahore, West Pakistan, as long as that need exists, and then for continuing work at the Lahore Church Council of the United Church Northern India/Pakistan, or its successor, on the understanding that, if in the future circumstances make it advisable to use the interest of the fund elsewhere, the Commission [Coemar] is free to do so, provided that the title and memorial character of the fund are always connected with it, and the purpose in maintained as nearly as possible.

Used by said Board in supporting a missionary or missionaries in China. Said Board shall make an annual report of the income from this fund and the use made thereof unto the Presbytery of Washington, Pennsylvania.

It is my will that the said Board of Foreign Missions shall use its share of said Legacy as an endowment or part of an endowment for the benefit of Assiut College, Assiut Egypt under the care of the American Mission Egypt, the entire share of said Board’s share to be safely invested by the Board, the annual proceeds of which is to be applied to the support of the Professor in said College in addition to the Professors being provided for from the annual appropriations of the Board and the missions or otherwise accounted for which being rendered annually to the missions and to the Board.

Interest earned only is to be used in connection with the expense of conferences to be held at the Center, which is located in Mariut, Egypt. If, in the future, for any reason the income cannot be used for this purpose, the Commission [Coemar] shall have the right to use the income for a similar purpose in other parts of the world.
